Our current class offerings are always changing, but this is a cross section of AWE classes.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE CLASSES THAT ARE RIGHT FOR YOU:
Our classes are grouped mostly by age, not necessarily by experience. This is by design. At Acting With Emily, all of our classes are “professional level” and can be taken multiple times. They are small, with an average of 6-8 students per class. What does this mean for you? Whether you are a beginner or a working professional, our classes are designed to bring out the best in you, and help you learn and grow at the right “level” for you. For example, students in ‘Acting for the Camera” range from beginners to those with feature film credits. Many of our students of all levels enjoy private coaching as well. Some classes are by audition only or require permission from our staff. If you are interested in one of these classes, please email us. Please also visit our FAQ page for more about our classes and structure.

To effectively communicate in today’s media, you have to understand two key elements: who reporters are and what they want. Emily’s staff of media consultants and reporters educate corporate executives on the media’s news gathering techniques and approaches. With a better knowledge of the news process, AWE then puts corporate leaders to the test. In taped mock television interviews, she takes executives through the rigors of the news interview process and then coaches them on ways to better present their viewpoints and be quoted on the issues they want to convey.
From intense one-on-one sessions to day-long seminars that span the gamut of presentation skills, Emily and her staff prepare executives to be effective public speaker. One on one taped sessions prepare the speaker to take their fine-tuned message to their intended audiences.
These sessions are designed to help executives fine-tune their message, present themselves effectively in business and business-casual settings, and make sure they are putting their best foot forward every step of the way. These sessions can also include wardrobe and styling coaching.
